System Design & Commissioning
Engineering Layered and Compliant Security Architectures
Our approach to commercial and high-end security is founded on rigorous, documented engineering methodology. We move beyond simple component installation to design a unified, layered security architecture that maps precisely to your operational risks and compliance obligations.
Key Stages in Project Delivery:
Detailed Technical Design & Risk Mapping:
Initial risk analysis is translated into a detailed technical specification, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., EN 50132/50133, PSA Guidelines).
System architects define the network topology, server redundancy, and device placement to achieve optimal coverage and performance (e.g., VMS bandwidth calculations, Access Control fail-safes).
Platform Integration & Configuration:
We configure and deploy unified security management platforms, utilising Open APIs and secure communication protocols (like OSDP and encrypted network pathways) to ensure seamless integration between CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.
Validation and Formal Commissioning:
The system is subjected to extensive Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), verifying that all functionality meets the original design specification. Formal commissioning includes final checks on encryption settings, failover procedures, and the production of comprehensive As-Built Documentation and Compliance Certificates for legal and insurance handover.
