It covers essential topics such as identifying risks, understanding evacuation procedures, and using fire extinguishers safely. By raising awareness and building practical skills, this training reduces panic, ensures compliance with Irish fire safety regulations, and empowers employees to protect themselves, colleagues, and property in critical situations.

Under the Fire Services Act 1981 & 2003 and the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, every employer in Ireland is legally obliged to provide adequate fire safety training to their staff.
Duty of Care: You must ensure your employees know what to do in the event of an emergency.
The "Fire Register": Training certificates are one of the first documents a Fire Officer will inspect during an audit.
Insurance Validity: Failure to train staff can invalidate your liability insurance in the event of a workplace injury during a fire.

The Science of Fire: Understanding the "Fire Triangle" and how fire spreads.
Emergency Protocol: What to do upon discovering a fire vs. hearing the alarm.
Evacuation Procedures: Sweeping the floor, assembly points, and the role of the Fire Warden.
Fire Extinguishers: Identifying the different types (Water, Foam, CO2, Powder) and which risk they cover.
Practical Demonstration: Every attendee gets the opportunity to handle and discharge a real fire extinguisher in a controlled environment.
